Forex education is important to not only novice forex traders, but veteran traders as well. Success as a forex trader comes with continuously educating yourself. Your pet’s living conditions are important, too. Keep their homes and bedding clean. Wash cages or bedding and change litter frequently. Make sure pets aren’t exposed to toxic chemicals, and keep an eye out for pests. Stay current with vaccinations, and take your pet to the vet if it seems sick.

Give your pet the right food. Most animals have specific dietary needs. Dogs, for example, need food tailored to their size, age, and activity level. Cats may have medical conditions that require a special diet, and birds need special food blends that provide them with the proper minerals. Your local pet store or veterinarian can point you toward the appropriate foods for your pet.

Another absolute essential is clean, fresh water. All pets need to have water available to them at all times. A dog's water dish should be filled at least twice a day, especially in hot weather. If your pet spends time outdoors, keep a filled water dish there, too. Smaller animals need water changes less often, but check it daily and change it immediately if any food or other foreign matter has gotten in to it.

For a pet, quality of life is everything, and it doesn’t take much to keep them happy. If your pet likes to play, play with it. If it prefers peace and quiet, admire it from afar. But do get to know it. Consider all the joy your pet gives you and reward it with love.

I just finished reveiwing this site called HomeandBeyond.com. This looks like a great site. They are a partner of True Value. I remember going in our local True Value as a kid. I was excited to run across this site because they have since closed our local store. It brought me back to my childhood when I saw that TV logo on the top of HomeandBeyounds site.

3rd Grade and Murder

This has really stumpped me. Y'all know what I'm talking about right? The plot that the 3rd graders had come up with to kill their teacher. I look at my own 8 year old and think "how does that happen?" I mean how DOES that happen? Where does the idea come from. I do shelter mine a bit, but did the parents of those kids do the same? I am just floored about this.

HUD Chief Quitting

Alphonso Jackson, Housing and Urban Development Secretary, will be stepping down April 18, 2008. Jackson, 62, sited family reasons for his resignation. "There comes a time when one must attend more diligently to personal and family matters. Now is such a time for me." says Jackson.

For the past two years he has been fending off allegations of cronyism and favoritism involving HUD contractors. There has been a FBI investigation into the ties between Jackson and a friend who was paid $392,000.00 as a construction manager in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

"I have known Alphonso Jackson for many years and I have known him to be a strong leader and a good man" said President Bush after regrettably accepting Jackson's resignation. The two have been friends since the 1980s.

Jackson was the president of American Electric Power-Texas and the first black leader of the housing authority in Dallas.

Jackson said he is staying on three more weeks to ensure an orderly transition of leadership.

Earth Hour

If everyone turned of the lights for 1 hour, would it really matter?

Last year 2.2 million residents and 2,100 businesses in Sydney, Australia all turned off their lights for 1 full hour. That day they reduced their energy use by 10.2%. That is the equivalent of removing 48,000 cars of the road.

That sparked the fist "Earth Hour" sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund and some Australians.

This year on March 29, 2008 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. "Earth Hour" goes international. More that 20 cities are participating officially.

Many world landmarks are coming together at the Sydney Opera House and shutting off the lights. They hope to encourage others to get involved. Other places going dark included; Toronto's CN Tower, Niagara Falls San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, Chicago's Sears Tower-Soldiers Field-Wrigley Field, Atlanta's Coca-Cola Headquarters and the worlds third largest mall in the Philippines.

MySpace Saves a Kidnapped Boy

This amazing story from New York is a refreshing change from all the horror stories of the internet.

Tiffany Rubin and her ex-boyfriend, Jeffery Salko (born in South Korea), had been in a custody battle over their 7-year old son Kobe since he was 4 months old. They had received joint custody with the arrangement of Kobe living with his mother and visitation with his father on alternating weekends.

Kobe disappeared August 21 after a visit with his father. At that time Salko was facing jail time for unpaid child support. Joseph Fredricks, Kobe's court appointed had recommended sole custody be given to the mother.

Rubin was in a panic and hoping that they were still in the US. She hacked into Salko's email account and found an email stating that he was flying to South Korea and not returning.

The FBI issued a warrant for his arrest and Mark Miller, founder of the American Association of Lost Children, convinced Rubin to put him on this case.

The break in the case occurred in January when she received a message on her MySpace page from someone who had seen her son and knew where he had been attending school. Shortly after that Kobe called his mother to tell her he missed her. He seemes unaware that he had been kidnapped.

She then flew to South Korea with Miller and Bazzel Baz (CEO of the Association of the Recovery of Children). The men surveyed the school while Rubin stayed in the hotel room. Seeing that the security seem to be lax, Rubin went to the school the next day to get her son. She went to his room and told the teacher who she was and that she needed to speak to him. She then put a wig on Kobe (in case someone seen him they would think he was a girl), then hailed a taxi to the US Embassy.

The following day they returned home to the US.

Rubin stated that even though Kobe is doing good since they returned, he still fears that his father may try to take him again.

The FBI is currently working with South Korea to secure Salko's arrest and extradition.
